Seasonal Couples Competitions - Winter 2025/26
A two-night staycation at Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel with up to three rounds of golf, including gentle relaxed stableford team competitions - no pressure!
All pairs welcome, double and twin rooms available.
Take on our James Braid designed Top 100 golf course this winter. We're the perfect winter-proof venue for your trip, no temporary greens or mats, a free draining heathland golf course and clean shoes at the end - bonus!
Start the day with a delicious breakfast and take a welcome break from the winter ailments with supper in the evening, each served in Ogilvie's restaurant with views over the third tee.
If it is comfort you are after, relax in Braid's Bar, where our log fires and leather sofas and chairs await.
Our seasonal couples competitions are a great way to meet new friends who also share a love of golf or why not bring some old friends along to relax, unwind and get out on the golf course.
Before departure there will be a prize presentation - what's a competition without a few prizes?
Itinerary
Day one: Practice round followed by afternoon tea, a welcome drink in Braid's Bar before enjoying a three-course dinner in Ogilvie's restaurant.
Day two: A Full English breakfast ahead of the first golf competition, plus, being so close to Thorpeness' pebble beach and wonderful surroundings, time to explore the local area at your leisure. A three-course dinner in Ogilvie's in the evening.
Day three: Breakfast in Ogilvie's restaurant followed by the second competition, and a prize presentation prior to departure.

Based on two people sharing a twin or double room, two night's accommodation with dinner and breakfast, up to three rounds of golf, including complimentary buggy, prizes, afternoon tea and a pre-dinner drink on arrival day.

Terms & Conditions: Subject to availability. Rooms and tee times, and golf buggy subject to availability. We would require a £30 per person non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit to guarantee the booking.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation less than 48 hours before arrival, we would charge the whole amount less deposit. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before arrival will lose the deposit.
