Award win for Thorpeness team members at TA Hotel Collection staff awards
TA Hotel Collection held the first of its annual staff awards in July at the stunning Thorpeness Country Club and Thorpeness Hotel & Golf Club were delighted to walk away with an award win for a member of their team.
Attendees at the evening’s events enjoyed a champagne reception overlooking the beach before sitting down to a gourmet 4-course meal prepared by Thorpeness Hotel’s head chef Ronnie Hayes.
The awards, hosted by the White Lion’s general manager Peter Osborne were organised by the TA Hotel Collection to recognise the hard work and dedication shown by team members at the properties across the group.
Thorpeness Hotel and Golf Club are delighted to announce David Rivett scooped Maintenance Person of the year for his work at Thorpeness in ensuring the safety and comfort of both staff and guests to the resort.
A special mention also goes to Paula Webster nominated for Receptionist of the Year, Claire Middleditch nominated for Housekeeper of the Year, Rob Cooper Kitchen Person and Claire Smith and Darshan Kantrodia Food & Beverage Person of the Year. It is a fantastic achievement for all to be recognised by their peers for their outstanding service at this, the first annual awards ceremony.
Commenting on the awards, Thorpeness Hotel director Paul Clouting said: “It was a fantastic night. We were delighted to host the awards for the group and to welcome everyone to our special venue on the Suffolk coast. The evening was a great success and culminated in a well-deserved award win for David Rivett, an important member of our team. I congratulate him and all of the team nominated in the various categories and I’d like to thank them for their continued efforts and hard work.
