MEMBERSHIP
Thorpeness has a completely different approach to golf membership with the Jubilee membership scheme. 7-day membership at the Club is currently full, but there is a restricted membership option available allowing golf during the week and after 3pm at weekends. Click here for further details
VISITORS
Visitors are very welcome at Thorpeness. Societies can arrange golf with breakfast, lunch and dinner! Company days can be organised with full support from our experienced staff. Green fee players are welcome.
CLUBHOUSE
The bar and restaurant were both refurbished in December 2004, and provide a relaxing and elegant atmosphere for our members and guests.
TUITION
Thorpeness are proud to have Frank Hill as the Senior Professional. Frank is currently putting together teaching packages for the autumn/winter season. The packages will include use of the Thorpeness Academy, with the video teaching and analysis facility that the Academy offers. Detail of teaching packages will appear here soon.
Members and visitors should, at all times, maintain a standard of dress appropriate with the dignity of the Club.
All golfers must be smartly dressed.
All golfers must wear recognised golf shoes with smart socks.
If shorts are worn they must be tailored.
The wearing of denim jeans is not permitted.
Men must wear shirts with collars.
Ladies may wear smart round neck T-shirts
If ladies wish to wear sleeveless shirts they must have a collar.

SUFFOLK TOUR
Thorpeness' James Braid Course is one of the most challenging and enjoyable golf courses within the suffolk coastal area, and golfers come back year after year to stay and play with us. Competition Calendar
Open golf competitions are held at Thorpeness throughout the year. There is a Ladies’ Open and Men’s Open held in the spring, the 2006 dates are to be confirmed.
The Mixed Open is held on the first Sunday in August, and the Junior Open is held the Friday before.
