Visitors are welcome at Thorpeness Golf Course in Suffolk and can book tee-times from 11am onwards. Handicap certificates are mandatory.

Clubhouse Facilities
Thopeness Golf Club has an excellent Clubhouse where players can relax and enjoy a leisurely drink or light meal after tackling the golf course.
After battling the 18 holes and the elements on the Suffolk golf course rest in the clubhouse with its traditional yet relaxed atmosphere. The wood-panelled bar has an open fire and cosy sofas, which provide a comfortable and informal setting.
Bar snacks can be ordered throughout the day or for a more formal dining experience, the restaurant can be booked for lunch or dinner by both members and non-residents. On a bright day, unwind on the patio overlooking the Meare with an après-golf drink and watch the glorious sunsets which this part of the beautiful Suffolk coast is so famous for.

Spend time with friends in the Clubhouse and forget the golf for a little while as you take advantage of the other facilities. There is a snooker room with a full sized table and a dartboard plus a library, which has several card tables and cards.
There are also men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, both of which have shower facilities.
Hotel Residents
Residents of Suffolk Hotels—-The White Lion Hotel, The Brudenell Hotel and The Swan Hotel—are entitled to a 20% discount on green fees at Thorpeness Golf Club. Please call the pro-shop to book a tee-time on 01728 454926.
Golf Academy
Visitors are welcome at the Thorpeness Golf Academy, where you can take a lesson with one of our professionals and learn more with video teaching analysis. We’re confident that just a few short lessons will improve your game for your next round of golf in Suffolk.
